To support the development of high-quality game content, the contract Technical Artist will work remotely to build and improve tools and pipelines for artists, focusing on animation and cinematics while collaborating across disciplines. Key responsibilities Develop and maintain tools that facilitate smooth content creation and iteration for animation and cinematics Build code libraries for technical artists and assist in troubleshooting tool workflows Document processes clearly and assist with DCC and engine version upgrades to ensure efficient pipelines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Art or a related field, or equivalent education and experience 2+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in the game industry Strong understanding of Python, UMG, and Qt (or similar UI libraries) Experience with Maya and Unreal Engine 5, including sequencer Familiarity with Maya to Unreal pipelines and asset deliveries, including batch scripts and rigging setups
